My name is Shannon Weber and I am an account manager at the GCI Insurance Chico, CA location. I have been in the insurance industry since 2011. My BA is in Psychology.

I first started as a receptionist in an insurance office and became licensed shortly after. From there I went on to an online enrollment platform call center assisting members with online applications and helping them find the best options to fit their insurance needs. I found that I enjoyed helping people with this confusing process but wanted it to be a bit more hands on. For the past several I have been an account manager and assisting on the benefits, claims and processing side.

My favorite thing about working in health insurance is being able to help our clients navigate this confusing industry.

Outside of work I enjoy being outside in nature & exploring. Almost every weekend in the winter my husband and I are up in the mountains snowmobiling! I also love to travel and see new places.
