Dayna Silveira

Account Manager

Meet Dayna Silveira

My name is Dayna Silveira, and I am the account manager at the GCI Insurance Chico, CA location. I have been in the insurance industry since July of 2014. My BA is in liberal studies.

I took several courses in medical coding and medical terminology, licensed in 2014, and was a member of the California Association of Health Underwriters for six years. I also served on a local board for the Health Underwriters for several years. I regularly attend webinars and participate in professional growth opportunities to gain knowledge and understanding of the ever-changing world of employee benefits and health insurance.

My favorite thing about working in health insurance is the ability to help people. I have the opportunity to create relationships with both employers and employees to ensure that they understand their coverages and are working as they should.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, camping, spending time with friends and family, and being outside whenever possible! My current passion project is to get all of my recipes in one organized place.

Fun Fact:

I recently took on a love of house plants and now have 12 thriving plants! I always thought I had a black thumb.
