Hi my name is Alex Sosa, and I am the Billing Specialist and Claims Manager here at GCI. I am new to the insurance world, and so far, my learning experience here at GCI has been amazing.  

I started my position here at GCI a year ago as temp and 2 months in, our company president, Mick, brought me onboard permanently. Since then, I have learned a lot regarding insurance and what specific types there is. I previously worked as a shipping coordinator at a construction office out of Redding, CA, but overall, I have been an Admin for 10 years now.

My favorite thing about working here at GCI, is the challenges I face from time to time and every day is a new learning experience.

My favorite things to do outside of work are doing physical activities with my dog, she’s a German Shepherd/Lab mix. I also enjoy reading books on the Kindle App, listening to true crime stories on podcasts, and long late-night drives. But the #1 thing I enjoy doing the most is being a mom to my 8-year-old son. He’s a wild child and definitely keeps me on my toes.
